Burns Park in North Little Rock (Pulaski County) is one of the largest city-owned parks in the nation. The park acreage has a history of private ownership and subsequently of federal, state, and municipal government ownership. In 1893, the citizens of Little Rock (Pulaski County) gave a 1,100-acre tract of land north of the Arkansas River to the federal government. In exchange, the thirty-six-acre U.S. Army Arsenal grounds in Little Rock were deeded to the city for use as a public park, the Little Rock Arsenal or MacArthur Park. Burnes Park, north of the river included the area atop Big Rock.

In 1948, the City of North Little Rock learned that the federal government was disposing of some of the Camp Robinson land. Dr. William M. Burns, who had previously served twice as mayor of North Little Rock and was a longtime advocate for creating public parks, urged city leaders to purchase some of the surplus land for a park. The park eventually grew to 1,600 acres, the majority of which is still forest. Park improvements began in 1950 and have continued.

This group is a gathering of like-minded individuals who meet in nature with the shared purpose of bringing harmony and balance to the earth and its ley lines. Together, we offer blessings to the earth, connect our hearts in unity, and radiate love to the land. Our meetings are a time to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature, fostering a deep connection with the earth's energies. Through our collective intention, we seek to clear away negativity, infuse the earth's grid with positive, loving energy, and restore the natural flow of harmony across Arkansas. Our gatherings are not only spiritual but also a celebration of the earth's beauty, offering a sacred space where healing, love, and joy flourish.

🌟BONUS: I found a fun article about Arkansas Leylines. Unfortunately the earlier article which it references, is not longer active. But the future of leyline mapping is upon us. Maybe you can help.
